A shotgun caliber adapter is precision made sleeve that, once inserted into the chamber of your shotgun, allows you to shoot a smaller round from that gun. For example, the 12 gauge to 9mm adapter shown below. These adapters can be chambered in anything from .22LR to .45LC, giving shooters incredible versatility while adding little weight. Whether you're planning a big backpacking trip or just out plinking, consider adding a couple of these to your arsenal.

Two years in the making, we're proud to present our semi-auto and pump action safe shotgun caliber adapters.
Safe for Use in Pump and Semi-Automatic Shotguns
In Break-Action Shotguns:
Installation is quick and easy. Always start by checking that your firearm is completely unloaded. We also recommend cleaning the bore of your shotgun, or at the very least run a bore brush and a couple of patches through to remove any excess carbon build-up. Simply press the appropriate adapter into your shotguns chamber, making sure the sleeve seats completely into the chamber. When using an adapter designed for rimfire cartridges like .22 LR, we recommend aligning the top of the adapter with the top of your shotgun barrel.
In Pump-Action and Semi-Auto Shotguns:
Always start be checking that your firearm is completely unloaded. Start by removing the barrel from the receiver. As with break-action shotguns, we recommend cleaning the bore of your shotgun, or at the very least running a bore brush followed by a couple of patches through to remove excess carbon build-up. With the barrel removed, begin pressing your adapter into the chamber of your shotgun. The trick is to take great care to line up the adapter's extractor reliefs, with those of your shotgun. If done correctly, the extractor will ride smoothly past the rim of the adapter travelling through the relief. We again recommend that when using a rimfire adapter, the bore be aligned with the top of the barrel.
Use of our adapters in all actions is simple and easy. Simply load the appropriate cartridge, close the action, and take aim. When using pump and autoloaders we do not recommend slamming the action closed or dropping the bolt. This can put undue wear and tear on your adapter and shotgun. There may be a brief break-in period where you find spent cartridges cases are more difficult to remove. We recommend experimenting with various ammo manufacturers to find the brand and load that function best in your adapter, just as you would with any other firearm. When removing the adapter, we recommend removing the barrel (not for break-actions) and using a wooden dowel to push the adapter out of the chamber. Do not use steel cleaning rods for this, as you can damage the crown of the adapter by doing this.
