The StealthBlast SMD is a game-changing firearm accessory engineered to provide an unparalleled shooting experience. What sets this innovative device apart is its unique ability to address the issue of firearm noise all while still reducing felt recoil. Instead of reducing the report, the StealthBlast SMD redirects that sound and concussive blast downrange, ensuring a safer, more enjoyable, and more comfortable shooting session. And the best part is, it's a non-class III item, meaning no lengthy wait or paperwork.
How It Works:
Traditional muzzle devices are often designed solely to reduce noise or control recoil. The StealthBlast, however, takes a novel approach. It incorporates acoustic engineering principles and precision machining to transform the shockwave generated upon firing.
Rather than attempting to diminish the report (the audible sound produced when a firearm is discharged), the SMD collects the energy created during the firing sequence and redirects it downrange while lengthening the recoil impulse for a smoother shot all around. This redirection occurs in a controlled and focused manner, ensuring that the noise, while still present, is sent away from the shooter.
Elevate Your Shooting Experience:
The StealthBlast SMD takes firearm accessories to a new level by redefining how we experience firearm reports and concussive effects. It ensures that shooters and their fellow enthusiasts can enjoy the sport safely, without compromising the performance of your firearm.
Experience the difference for yourself and equip your firearms with the StealthBlast Sound Mitigation Device.
Shoot comfortably, shoot confidently, and shoot safely.
It's essential to emphasize that the StealthBlast SMD is not a suppressor or silencer under the law. It is a muzzle device designed to improve shooter comfort without altering the legal classification of the firearm. It is not considered a registered item and does not require any special licensing or permits for purchase or use. As they consumer, you should still double check you local and state laws.

Watch this for an in-depth exploration of the StealthBlast Sound Mitigation Device. Here we demo the product and the steps for installation. We also cover the benefits and answer some frequently asked questions. Remember, we're machinists by trade, not videographers.
If you never intend to use just the muzzle brake portion of the SMD, simply screw it onto your favorite rifle (of appropriate caliber) and torque it down until you cannot unscrew it by hand. The StealthBlast has wrench flat designed for a 3/4" end wrench. If no wrench is available, an appropriately sized piece of bar stock inserted into the rearmost port can serve as a wrench. Then simply screw the StealthBlast cup onto the brake, and you're ready to shoot!
If you wish to use the muzzle brake features of the StealthBlast, you'll need either a crush washer, or shims to correctly clock the brake portion. Follow best practice when installing this, again making sure it is properly torqued. NEVER USE THE MUZZLE BRAKE PORTION WITHOUT HEARING PROTECTION. Muzzle brakes are very loud (if they aren't loud they aren't doing their job).
It's important to intermittently clean the carbon fouling from the inside of the cup and the brake. Following the cleaning regiment for your firearm, as recommended by the manufacturer, take a moment to clean and, if appropriate, oil the components of the SMD.
